First Lutheran is a confessional, conservative rural congregation in Logan Township, Ontario. We offer Scriptural, historic, liturgical, Christ-centered services straight from the hymnal. Holy Communion is offered weekly. Our hymns are direct from the Lutheran Service Book and we try to vary our hymnody with respect to the rich historical traditions of the Lutheran Church. Close Communion is observed. Visitors are to be examined by the pastor prior to the service if they desire to commune. Our Pastor endeavors to weekly provide Law and Gospel preaching and is committed to the care of souls based upon sacred, historical, and faithful practices which rely upon the Word of God and the means that God has provided. For over 150 years this congregation has been showing the light of Christ in a dark world. We eagerly welcome visitors, so come see us!
