Grace Lutheran is a confessional and liturgical congregation in Kitchener, Ontario. We are a smaller congregation with an average attendance of about 60-75 people. Because of this, we have only one service a Sunday. The congregation is young in average age, with almost half of weekly attendance comprising of children, teens, and youth. The congregation uses both the chalice and the individual cups, but the pastor would like to move towards using only the chalice during communion in the future. An elder distributes the individual cups. A processional crucifix is used for the processional and recessional hymns. The congregation has a pipe organ that is used for accompaniment for the hymns, and the Lutheran Service book is used every Sunday for both the hymns and the liturgy. The families of the congregation meet on Thursdays during the school year for potluck and choir practice (children’s choir). The church is on the corner of Margaret and Louisa St, across from the Margaret Ave Public School.
