Immanuel uses the Common Service (page 184 in the LSB) almost exclusively on Sunday morning. We sing Reformation era chorales and strive to make use of the best of Lutheran hymnody. We utilize the music of the Lutheran Church because it clearly confesses the Gospel.
Our congregation operates a small, classical Lutheran day school in which we assist parents in training up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Unconstrained by educational theory intended to lead children away from important supernatural realities, we look to the Word of God as the ultimate source of knowledge for every generation.
In an era where many deny any distinction between men and women, we affirm that Scripture ascribes unique and important roles to each gender. Following the teachings of Scripture, we maintain the historic practice of the Missouri Synod in the form of male only suffrage.
