Saude Lutheran Church was founded by Norwegian immigrants in 1857 under the leadership of the Rev. U. V. Koren. It follows a version of the “Bugenhagen Order” popular among Norwegian Lutherans. The church is located about 10 miles north of Lawler, Iowa.
